This yummy smoothie bowl is fun to make, as well as eat!  The best part about it is that you can customize it as you like, with a variety of fruits, seeds and nuts! It makes for a healthy, balanced and wholesome meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 frozen mango
  • 1 frozen banana
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup of coconut milk
  • 2 tsp granola
  • 2 tsp mixed seeds

Method:

  1. In a blender, blend together all the frozen fruits
  2. Add in the yogurt & coconut milk
  3. Blend well until smooth
  4. Pour this mixture into a bowl
  5. Garnish with some banana slices, granola & seeds
  6. Drizzle on some honey
  7. Eat fresh!

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups oat flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk of your choice
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract with pods
  • Pinch of salt

Method:

  1. Add all the ingredients to a blender
  2. Blitz the ingredients together to make a smooth thick batter
  3. Transfer the mixture into to ‘squeezy’ bottle
  4. Heat a pan on a medium flame
  5. Using the bottle make coin size pancakes
  6. Cook for 1 minute each (until light brown)
  7. Remove the mini pancakes from the pan

Pancake Toppings options:

  • Sliced banana or any fresh fruit of your choice
  • Oats & granola with almond & pistachio (or any other chopped-up nuts)
  • Dried berries
  • Raw unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Cinnamon-infused Honey

How To Plate It:

  • Create a crescent border on the side of the plate with the mini pancakes
  • Layer one the toppings, one at a time
  • Serve with almond butter or almond milk

This chia seeds pudding is a healthy, delicious & easy-to-make summer treat! Chia seeds are easy-to-digest and will help keep you feeling full & refreshed during the summer!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp coffee powder
  • 1 cup roasted walnuts
  • 1/2 cup chia seeds (soaked)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method

  • In a large bowl add the coconut milk
  • Add in the coffee powder
  • Add in the chia seeds
  • Add in the vanilla extract
  • Mix all the ingredients well
  • Place in the fridge for 1-2 hours
  • Scoop into bowls
  • Garnish with roasted walnuts
  • Enjoy chilled!

A sugar-free tasty treat loaded with the goodness of fresh fruit & chia seeds!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp organic honey
  • 1 cup diced strawberries
  • 2 tbsp dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

Method:

  • In a large bowl add the Greek yogurt
  • Mix in the diced strawberries
  • Add the honey
  • Add in dark chocolate chips
  • Sprinkle in the chia seeds
  • Mix all the ingredients well
  • Scoop the mixture into heart-shaped molds (or any popsicle molds of choice)
  • Place in the freezer for 20 minutes
  • Insert a popsicle stick into the center of the mold
  • Place in the freezer for 1-2 hours
  • Remove the popsicles from the molds & enjoy chilled!

A healthy and sugar-free smoothie to curb those sweet tooth cravings!

How to prepare:

  • To a blender add 1 chopped banana
  • Add 5 large strawberries
  • Add 2 tbsp chia seeds (soaked in water/milk for 5-10 minutes)
  • Add in 4-5 mint leaves
  • Add in 1 tsp honey
  • 1 cup low-fat soymilk
  • Blend all the ingredients together well
  • Pour into a glass
  • Garnish with strawberries & nuts

Healthy, sugar-free and yummy! This Sugar-Free Hot Chocolate recipe is the perfect drink to enjoy during the winter!

How to prepare:

  • In a saucepan add 2 cups low-fat milk
  • Add in 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
  • Add in 1 tbsp coffee
  • Whisk occasionally on a medium flame
  • Take off the heat
  • Stir in 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • Pour into mugs
  • Garnish with grated dark chocolate
  • Enjoy hot!

Gluten-free, loaded in protein and rich in essential amino acids, quinoa is one healthy grain you should definitely be eating! This festive season add a dash of good health to your desserts by opting for this low-calorie, healthy and delicious Quinoa & Apple Kheer!

  • In a pot heat 1 tsp ghee
  • Add in 1 cup finely chopped & peeled apples
  • Sauté for 3-4 minutes Add 1 cup cooked quinoa
  • Add 2 cups boiled milk
  • Add 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • Add 5-7 strands of saffron
  • Bring to a boil and simmer for 30-35 minutes until the mixture thickens
  • Add in 1/2 cup brown sugar and stir till combined
  • Allow to cool at room temperature
  • Place in the fridge for 1 hour
  • Garnish with chopped dry fruits & enjoy!

  • To a hot pan add 1 tbsp homemade ghee
  • Add in chopped cashews & almonds
  • Add 1 cup cooked pumpkin
  • Fry for 4-5 minutes until the raw smell disappears
  • Pour in 1/2 cup skim milk
  • Add in 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • Add 2 tbsp jaggery powder
  • Cook till the halwa thickens
  • Garnish with nuts & serve hot!
